At the Center for Change and Recovery, we believe that people can change with collaboration and support. We utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a focus on relapse prevention. We offer group therapy, individual counseling sessions, as well as couples and family counseling. In addition, we provide treatment for co-occurring disorders. Our clients may receive treatment in either an Intensive Outpatient or Outpatient treatment modality based on their needs.
We offer comprehensive treatment evaluations, evidence based groups, and various levels of treatment based on the client's motivation to change. Our staff is experienced in identifying the sources of resistance and encouraging change.
We offer specific treatment for our clients who are referred by the Criminal Justice System. Criminal and Addictive thinking patterns and behaviors are the focus of treatment. Through healthy collaboration with treatment staff and feedback from other group members, our clients engage in the acquisition of life skills that are needed to remain in the community. Thus treatment is also based on relapse prevention and the good lives model which assists offenders in recognizing their risk and also their strengths. By giving our clients collaboration and support, we encourage them to be accountable to others which promotes change and recovery.
